My name is Uri Katanov, I hold a MSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University (FEA, Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer) and hold Professional Engineer License Ontario Canada.

My scientific research project focused on FEA validation: Accuracy of the Dynamic Property estimation in Electronic System with Finite Element with Analytical Method and Experimental Validation. (General FEA for vibration, Estimation of Dynamic property for composite materials, Failure analysis etc.)

Over the course of my career, I have developed excellent analytical and problem solving skills, strong time management skills and the ability to deal effectively with all levels of management and staff.

As an experienced engineer I bring expertise on mechanics and a deep understanding of structures whether under fluid or thermal loading (CFD consulting services) or due to impact (LS-DYNA consulting services) or general FEA for vibration, seismic or stress (FEA consulting services) to help build better structures

Other FEA specialization include: seismic analysis of Pressure vessels per ASME Section VIII, Div. 2 requirements, drop-test analysis, composite analysis (stress and thermal) and transient-dynamic stress analysis, elastic-plastic analysis of plastics, and general analysis of a wide-range of consumer,semiconductors, telecommunication automotive,and aviation products.
